Mas Que una Casa are two houses with a total of six bedrooms, four bathrooms, a private pool (8x5m) and several terraces and is very suitable to spend a wonderful holiday with up to 12 people. The houses are located on a private hill (2500m2) overlooking orange fields and a castle. Total privacy and yet within three minutes you find yourself at the local restaurant. Within 22 minutes you’re parked at the sandy beaches of Oliva with free parking.
Each villa (110m2) has an air-conditioned living and dining room, an HDTV (Netflix, Diney+ etc.), a fully equipped kitchen (including induction hob, fridge/freezer combination, Airfryer, Nespresso machine) and through a sliding door your reach the covered balcony which is fitted with a fan, dining table and a gas BBQ (shared by both houses). There are three air-conditioned bedrooms and two bathrooms on this level, one of which is en-suite. In addition, at pool level there is a room with an extra bathroom and toilet.
The swimming pool (8x5m) and the terrace around the pool are equipped with an outdoor shower. With eight sun loungers, four large beanbags and several umbrellas to create shade, this is a great place to relax.
On the large terrace (60m2) you will find a large dining table with chairs and a large lounge sofa with two 3x3m umbrellas to enjoy lovely drinks and long evenings. Both houses, terrace and swimming pool have a WiFi connection.

Our house is located on the Costa Blanca between the beautiful cities of Valencia and Alicante just outside the quaint white village of Forna.

Beaches
The Costa Blanca North is known for its beautiful sandy beaches that slope gently into the Mediterranean. Just a 22-minute drive away through the orange fields and the Marjal de Pego nature reserve, you will find the fine sandy beach of Oliva. A nice quiet sloping beach where you can do water sports, relax and enjoy Spanish life among Spaniards and tourists. The beaches of towns like Gandia, Denia, Javea, Moraira, Calpe, Altea etc. are also worthwhile visiting.
Cities and places to see
Our house is situated between Valencia and Alicante and is the perfect starting point for day’s visit. Closer by you will find the towns of Adsubia and Pego where you can do your daily shopping (Mercadona, Mas y Mas, Aldi, Spar). Larger towns like Gandia, Oliva, Denia, Javea, Altea, Moraira, Calpe and Benidorm are all at a pleasant driving distance. If you want to go out for a day, check out the places more inland such as Jalon on Saturdays a cosy rastro (antique and flea market) and the local cooperativo where the local wine is sold, Xativa with a beautiful old centre and wonderful walk to the castle and Guadelest with its reservoir and 1000-year-old walled city with a nice museum.
Food and drink
When visiting Spain you know the food is delicious this is no different in our area. Regional cuisine on the Costa Blanca is very diverse with meat, fish, seasonal vegetables and very proud cooks. Obviously at the various local restaurants you will find the famous Valencian paella and tapas but try a speciality of the house like tosta de figatell, coca de dacsa con gambeta or arroz con costra you will be surprised. In the village of Forna a five-minute walk from the house you will find restaurant Nautilus where you can get acquainted with regional cuisine. You can do this with a menu del dia during the week in the afternoon (3 courses and dessert) or in the evening à la carte. Do make a reservation it is especially busy during summer months and on a regular Sunday!
Sports
Want to keep fit during your holiday? Very close to the house you can do lots of things. There are various hiking routes, you can cycle (cycling or mountain biking), run, play tennis, padel, golf and all kinds of water sports. Combined with the lovely climate, you immediately feel a lot fitter!
Prices and availability 2025
High season
From 2 August -30 August (high season), we offer our houses (maximum 12 people) with the following options:
Option 1: Both houses for a period of one week. Rental price € 2,500 per week
Option 2: Both houses for a period of two weeks from 2-16 August or from 16 August to 30 August. Rent for a fortnight € 4,750.
Option 3: Both houses for a period of three or four weeks from 2 August to 30 August. Price on request
Arrival in high season on Saturday from 16.00 hrs.
During other periods we rent one of the two houses. The house with the cooking island is only rented in the high season.
Mid season
1 september – 30 september.
Rent is € 850 per week. The price is based on occupancy of 4 persons.
All other periods

Other costs and deposit
The rental price excludes consumption of electricity* (€ 0.21 per kWh), final cleaning in high season € 100,- (for a fortnight for two houses) and other periods € 50,- (per week per house) and (mandatory rental) linen package 15,00 p.p. The deposit is € 500,-.
*The meter will be read on the day of arrival and departure. The costs will be deducted from the deposit after the consumption statement is sent.

- Living and dining room: lounge sofa with ottoman, LG HDTV (with your own account you have access to Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime etc.), dining table and air conditioning.
- Balcony: dining table and chairs, fan and lighting.
- Shared facilities:
- Terrace: terrace (60m2) dining table with eight chairs, lounge sofa, two umbrellas (3x3m),
- Swimming pool: swimming pool (8x5m), eight sunbeds, four parasols, four sitting/lounging bags, two chairs and an outdoor shower.
