Mas Que una Casa 1 and 2 are two houses with in total six bedrooms, four bathrooms, a private pool (8x5m) and several terraces and is very suitable to spend a wonderful holiday with up to 10 people. The houses are located on a private hill (2500m2) overlooking orange fields and a castle. Total privacy and yet within three minutes you find yourself at the local restaurant. Within 22 minutes you’re parked at the sandy beaches of Oliva with free parking.
Each villa (110m²) has an air-conditioned living and dining room, an HDTV (Netflix etc.), a fully equipped kitchen (including an induction hob, fridge-freezer, Airfryer, Nespresso machine) and, accessed via sliding doors adjoining the living room, a covered balcony, a dining table with chairs and one gas BBQ (shared between both houses). On this floor, one house has three bedrooms and the other two (all with air conditioning), as well as two bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. In addition, on the pool level, there is a room with an extra bathroom and toilet. The washing machine and tumble dryer are also located here.
The swimming pool (8x5m) and the terrace surrounding it are equipped with an outdoor shower. With eight sun loungers, chairs and several umbrellas to provide shade, this is a lovely spot to relax.
On the large terrace (60m²) upstairs, you’ll find, amongst other things, a large dining table with chairs. On the terrace at pool level, there is a large lounge sofa with two 3x3m parasols and a bar for those lovely drinks and long evenings. Both houses, the terrace and the swimming pool have Wi-Fi access.

Beaches
The Costa Blanca North is known for its beautiful sandy beaches that slope gently into the Mediterranean. Just a 22-minute drive away through the orange fields and the Marjal de Pego nature reserve, you will find the fine sandy beach of Oliva. A nice quiet sloping beach where you can do water sports, relax and enjoy Spanish life among Spaniards and tourists. The beaches of towns like Gandia, Denia, Javea, Moraira, Calpe, Altea etc. are also worthwhile visiting.
Cities and places to see
Our house is situated between Valencia and Alicante and is the perfect starting point for day’s visit. Closer by you will find the towns of Adsubia and Pego where you can do your daily shopping (Mercadona, Mas y Mas, Aldi, Spar). Larger towns like Gandia, Oliva, Denia, Javea, Altea, Moraira, Calpe and Benidorm are all at a pleasant driving distance. If you want to go out for a day, check out the places more inland such as Jalon on Saturdays a cosy rastro (antique and flea market) and the local cooperativo where the local wine is sold, Xativa with a beautiful old centre and wonderful walk to the castle and Guadelest with its reservoir and 1000-year-old walled city with a nice museum.
Food and drink
When visiting Spain you know the food is delicious this is no different in our area. Regional cuisine on the Costa Blanca is very diverse with meat, fish, seasonal vegetables and very proud cooks. Obviously at the various local restaurants you will find the famous Valencian paella and tapas but try a speciality of the house like tosta de figatell, coca de dacsa con gambeta or arroz con costra you will be surprised. In the village of Forna a five-minute walk from the house you will find restaurant Nautilus where you can get acquainted with regional cuisine. You can do this with a menu del dia during the week in the afternoon (3 courses and dessert) or in the evening à la carte. Do make a reservation it is especially busy during summer months and on a regular Sunday! Or a small drive to Adsubia where you will find restaurant L’Artesa.
Sports
Want to keep fit during your holiday? Very close to the houses you can do lots of things. There are various hiking routes, you can cycle (cycling or mountain biking), run, play tennis, padel, golf and all kinds of water sports. Combined with the lovely climate, you immediately feel a lot fitter!
Prices & Availability 2027
During the high season, we always rent out both houses together. In the mid and low seasons, the house without the kitchen island is available.
High Season 2027 only both houses
For the period from July 10 — August 21 (high season), we offer our houses (max 10 people) with the following options: Both houses for a two-week period (see details below). The rent is € 2,700 per week for both houses for the first two periods. The total rent for the third period (12 nights) is € 4,630.

Additional Costs and Deposit
The rent does not include electricity usage* (€ 0.21 per kWh), final cleaning in the high season € 150 (for two weeks for both houses) and other periods € 75 and a (mandatory) linen package of € 15.00 per person. The deposit is € 750 in the high season and € 500 during the rest of the year.
* The electricity meter reading will be recorded on your day of arrival and departure. The costs will be deducted from the deposit after we send you the usage overview.
